ReEnableAutomation

The ReEnableAutomation utility helps prevent Ableton Live from disabling automation when presets are changed while parameters are being automated. It is this annoying thing:

All gbFX devices automatically send a unique Re-Enable Automation message whenever a preset is recalled. In many cases this is enough to restore automation automatically. If not, enabling AutoReEnableAutomation will continuously send the message at a user-defined interval, which provides a more reliable "brute force" solution.

If you're using multiple gbFX devices that frequently change presets while being automated, enabling Qlim can improve stability by throttling and deferring the automation messages, reducing the chance of overwhelming Live with simultaneous requests.

If you do not use the built-in preset system included with each gbFX device, you generally won't encounter these automation issues.

ReEnableAutomation – Manually sends a Re-Enable Automation message to Ableton Live.
QlimSpeed – Sets the throttling interval used by the qlim object when enabled.
Gate – Enables or disables message transmission.
